Meet in Davis Area
Davis County: Where Business Meets Adventure - only 20 minutes from the SL International Airport
There’s a new reason to meet in Davis County, Utah; where business meets adventure. The Davis Conference Center (see the link below!) in Layton has been “rockin’” since a $10 million expansion increased its capacity by 38,000 square feet. The expansion includes a 17,000-square-foot exhibit hall and more than 10,000 square feet of contiguous meeting and pre-function areas creating a combined total of more than 70,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting and exhibition space. And there's PLENTY of free parking!
Finding accommodations in Davis County is as easy as deciding to meet here. The area offers more than 1,500 guest rooms; 450 of these are in properties that surround the Davis Conference Center. More than 250 restaurants, 90 of which lie within walking distance of the hotels and convention center, form a true “hospitality zone” where attendees can find anything from fine dining to a casual hot spot. The DACVB Convention Services Department can assist with transportation, on-line registration, group reservations and off-site theme-dining experiences.

MORE ABOUT DAVIS COUNTY!
- Dog and Pony Shows: The Davis Area is the perfect place for equestrian events and dog shows. The Legacy Events Center was the official rodeo venue for the 2002 Winter Olympic activities, and today it is part of the fairgrounds - providing room for exhibitions and shows and it even cleans up real nice for catered events! Because we do so many dog shows at the Center, our hotels are also familiar and supportive of owners and their animals.
- Experience the Old West: Visitors to Davis County also encounter a unique experience at Antelope Island, the best place to experience the Great Salt Lake. Enjoy the beach, float in salt water, or take a customized horseback ride with the island’s outfitter. Bring binoculars for the best viewing of antelope, mule deer, big horn sheep, coyote, and a herd of over 500 free-roaming bison.
- Take a swing! Davis County’s nine pristine courses feature scenic backdrops of the mountains and valleys and offer every level of play to golf enthusiasts.
- Float in Powder: Winter is also a great time to experience Davis County and the “Greatest Snow on Earth.” The area boasts 10 ski resorts, situated within 20 minutes to one hour of our hotels.
- Learn to Relax: After a hard day on the links or on the slopes, guests can relax with a massage at one of several day spas.
